This standout release from Cadenhead’s Original Collection features whisky from the cult favorite Ben Nevis distillery aged for 11 years in ex-bourbon casks and bottled without color added at 92 proof. The nose has aromas of apple strudel, cinnamon, white grape, and sweet icing. On the palate, flavors of wholegrain sweet cereal are joined by barley sugar, sweet cream, and gooseberries. The finish features salted caramel, light fruit, and an interesting flinty minerality.
