Sweet and inviting, Benriach’s Smoky Ten is made from a blend of peated and unpeated malt aged for ten years and finished in a combination of virgin toasted oak, ex-bourbon, and ex-Jamaican rum casks before bottling at 92 proof. Nosing reveals scents of tropical fruit, sweet smoke, and light spice. The palate begins with sweet honey, tropical fruit, cinnamon, and sweet peat smoke before finishing on flavors of smoky grilled fruit and sweet oak.
