The “Third Chapter” of this distillery’s “Renaissance Series,” this 17-year-old Glen Garioch whisky was originally available only in select whisky shops and the distillerys visitor center. Positioned just below the 18-year-old offering, it is matured in a mix of sherry and former Bourbon casks, delivering a warm, well-aged dram with an excellent balance of spirit and cask types. At 50.8% ABV, it offers notes of Seville orange marmalade, dried apricots in syrup, burnt sugar, vanilla fudge, honey on buttered toast, milk chocolate, and cinnamon, embodying a classic Highlander with a spicy style and satisfying complexity!
