Thebase wine is made from Macabeo, which allows the wine to be aged and is organoleptically very neutral and therefore doesn’t interfere with the exceptionally bitter herbs. Fresh resiny flavors from the gentian, with additional notes of dry spice, subtle fruit,alpine, wild, and dry woodland herbs. Aged 10-12 months in barrel before bottling.
