Adam Hannett, the Head Distiller, skillfully extracts the essence of the Islay barley, resulting in a cereal-forward single malt whisky. Aged in a blend of first-fill ex-American whiskey casks and second-fill wine casks, the oak influence harmonizes with the grain, allowing the terroir and distinctive flavor of the Islay barley to shine through. The nose offers enticing aromas of hot, sweet mash and earthy peat smoke, accompanied by soft biscuit notes from the malted barley.
