Lets be honest, the Negroni is an OG and a pretty damn perfect cocktail as is, however, we felt that our variation was simply so good that we had to throw it in the ring. The classic Negronis origin story begins at the Caff Casoni in Florence, where it is believed by cocktail historians that Count Camillo Negroni invented the drink by ordering an Americano made with gin in place of the usual soda water. It was a huge success and not long after, the Negroni family founded the Negroni distillery, which produced a ready-to-drink version of the cocktail that they called Antico Negroni in 1919.

And so in honor of this spirit of innovation, we found that replacing the gin with Calisco created a unique experience with a rounded mouthfeel that balances the bitterness and brings out the beautiful aromas of the California grapes in our blend.
