This blend of rums from Trinidad, Guyana, and a little bit from Jamaica was made with the goal of making the perfect Mojito. Like the style of classic Cuban rums, this entails aging for a handful of years and then carbon filtering to remove most of the color imparted by the barrel, while retaining the hint of oak and vanilla (though there is often some color remaining after a couple passes, making the end result an pale off-white affair). The Trinidad rum at the heart lends the overall mellow, coconut and citrus character, while Guyana rums add a touch of burnt sugar and the touch of Jamaican rum just barely hints at a bright tropical fruit character. Bottled at 43% abv.
