It’s time again for Aberlour’s latest batch of A’Bunadh. Joining the rest of the batches, number 74 has been treated to the same maturation process, entirely in ex-oloroso sherry butts, so you can expect plenty of dark, sticky spice. Bottled up at cask strength, and non-chill filtered, this is a flavourful Speysider indeed, that does well with a few drops of water to open things up.
Tasting Notes
Sweet and sticky parkin, dried raisins, and a touch of waxy orange peel.
Origin
Scotland, Speyside
