Crafted with Bunnahabhain Mine, the distillery’s peated spirit, this single malt is a sequel to the original Toiteach and incorporates a higher proportion of sherry casks in the final blend compared to its predecessor. Pronounced ‘Toch-ach ah-gha’, its name translates to ‘Smoky Two’ in Gaelic. On the nose, it presents peaty aromas intertwined with rich oak and hints of sherry. The palate reveals a warming peatiness complemented by sweet Oloroso sherry notes, with subtle pepper emerging to provide balance. The finish is spicy with lingering sherry characteristics and peatiness.
