Cadenhead 7 Star is a blend of malt and grain whiskies “from distilleries all over Scotland” finished in ex-Oloroso Sherry casks and bottled at 92 proof. Tasting notes from the producer include a nose featuring strawberries and cream, apple crumble, and butter biscuits followed by a palate bringing flavors of tangerine skin, Muscovado sugar, and ginger snap biscuits. The finish leaves raisins and cocoa with a slightly drying citrus note.
