Kirchwasser, or just “Kirsch”, is one of the most classic styles of Eau-De-Vie, beloved in the German, Swiss, and Austrian alps, where it is a traditional shot, consumed as both an aperitif and digestif. Made from fresh whole Oregon and Washington sweet cherries, including pits, this Clear Creek Kirsch is in the classic German style. Flavor and the hallmark vanilla/almond nose come only from the cherries, as does the alcohol.
