First aged for five years in the Caribbean (Guyana & Barbados) for rich tropical depth, it is then shipped to Jerez, Spain, where it spends another five years in aged sherry casks initially in Dos Cortados (Palo Cortado) and finally in Pedro Ximnez (PX) casks. The result is an exceptionally smooth rum layered with dried fruit, vanilla, fig, toffee, and spice, with a long, velvety finish. A world-class sipping rum that showcases the artistry of sherry cask finishing.
