Eagle Rare is distilled from Buffalo Trace’s lower-rye mash bill #1 and aged at least 10 years before bottling at 90 proof. Inviting aromas of caramel, maraschino cherry, vanilla, and oak greet the nose. On the palate, flavors of caramel, honey, vanilla, and sweet cherry lead to a finish with chocolate, tobacco, and slightly drying oak.
