Equiano Original Rum is a unique blend of rums from Barbados’ Foursquare Distillery and Gray’s Distillery of Mauritius, aged in American white oak, French limousin oak, and cognac casks, then married in ex-bourbon casks. Named after Olaudah Equiano, a freedom fighter and abolitionist, 5% of profits are donated to ground level equality projects each year. This supple, rounded, and fruity rum boasts semi-sweet flavours of pineapple pudding, cocoa, mango lassi, and light molasses, with a balance of juicy raspberry, orange oils, and caraway in the finish.
