Nestled in the heart of the Lake Tahoe Watershed is Frey Ranch and Distillery, one of only a handful of American grain to glass distilleries.For their Bottled-in-Bond Rye, Themash bill is made up of 100% estate grown winter rye, aged at least four years in new oak and then bottled at 50% abv.

On the nose, there is vibrant citrus, particularly orange zest, followed by grain, molasses, vanilla, and herbs. The Palate follows with much of the same, with an assertive oakiness, leather, plum, and burnt sugar.
