Hoochery is the oldest continuously operating distillery in Western Australia, located in the heart of the beautiful Ord River Valley. The Ord River Rum Overproof is made from local sugar cane, wet season rainwater and yeast that is all vat fermented, pot distilled, charcoal filtered, and aged in oak barrels. It is a full-flavored rum with a smooth finish that’s easy-drinking but with enough bite to satisfy your adventurous side. Tasting notes describe it as powerful, sweet with scents of golden syrup and brown sugar, and delivering a concentrated, medium-dry molasses flavor with a slightly bitter burnt sugar note followed by a lengthy molasses/golden syrup aftertaste.
