Meursault is the centre of the four communes (Meursault, Blagny, Chassagne and Puligny) comprising that part of the Cte de Beaune known as the “Cte des Blancs”, named for the quality and predominance of its white wines. Grown exclusively to Chardonnay, the soils here are chalky and white marl, resulting in wines with bright acidity. This wine also rests on the lees for texture and body. Aromas of brioche, hazelnut and spice anda medium body and supple texture that carry into a persistent finish.
