An intriguing release from Taiwan’s King Car distillery, presented as part of their Kavalan Solist range. This expression is allowed to mature in casks that previously matured peated whisky – which has imparted a helping of smoke and earthy notes to this single malt whisky.

Oily barley leading to earthy peat smoke. Some new leather richness, balanced by zesty orchard fruit.
