A rich, late night take on the generally bright and refreshing Daiquiri, this is a drink for when the sun drenched revelry has long passed into star-speckled carousing but the air is still warm and the drinks need be no less balmy. Notes of molasses and treacle abound from both the Demerara gum syrup and Myers’s distinctly dark take on Jamaican rum, which is also lent a welcome spice kick from aging in Rye casks.
