Port Charlotte 10 Year Old is a flagship expression of Bruichladdich, a peated single malt whisky from the Isle of Islay matured in a combination of first-fill American whiskey casks, second-fill American whiskey casks, and second-fill French wine casks for a decade. On the nose, it offers aromas of salted caramel brownie, flamed orange peel, and seaweed, while on the palate, the smoky and salty notes of oak and sea air are balanced with sweeter flavors of Custard Cream biscuits and white grape, and the finish leaves a lingering taste of warming ginger snaps, rye toast, and drying peat smokiness.
