This Barbera-based bottle of pink was pressed to old French hogsheads before being barrel fermented at low temperatures with plenty of stirring and time on lees. This treatment allowed for the mellowing of the Barbera’s naturally high acidity and rounded out the palate, resulting in a delicious wine with mouth-filling weight and red berry fruit notes.
