Italian Winery Tenuta Ulisse in Central Italy has risen to the top of its class when it comes to producing exemplary wines using local varietals from its ancestral home of Abruzzo. And inarguably their flagship wine is this insanely good value Montepulciano. The wine is made with 100% Montepulciano d’Abruzzo grapes cultivated on the calcareous and clayey soil Crecchio, province of Chieti. It pours a ruby red colour with garnet reflections and exhibits an intensely fruity and flowery palate with cherry, blackberry and ripe red fruit notes.
