Exuding delicacy and complexity, this recently unveiled Scotch whisky entices with aromas of maple sugar and spices. On the palate, it opens with a floral burst that gradually transitions into creamy vanilla, honey, sarsaparilla, and a medley of baking spices. Its light and silky texture gives the impression of effervescence, leading to a lively finish punctuated by a refreshing herbal note reminiscent of hops.

The opening salvo of the Glenlivetrange, named in honour of the distillery’s founder, George Smith. It’s classic Glenlivet, with a creamy and fruity character bolstered by the use of first-fill American oak to mature some of the whisky.

Tasting’s Notes

There’s orange zest, toffee, hints of struck match and chocolate raisins, but before this starts to sound ‘Sherried’ there’s also pear drops, a dusting of sweet cinnamon, honeysuckle and sweet pea.Fruity, then sweet, more toffee, a touch of anise, then into milk chocolate Flakes, banoffee pie and apple turnovers.
