This truly old classic may seem a bit baroque with all the tiny measurements of specialty ingredients, but it is a great example of how a little bit of big flavors still go a long way. Patrick likes a solid dry base of Bordiga Occitan Gin, the crisp citrus of Cocchi Extra Dry Vermouth, then tiny measurements of Luxardo Maraschino and St. George Absinthe for a great complexity boost. Patrick’s only ingredient alteration to the classic formula is replacing Orange Bitters with a cheeky Grapefruit.
