Each are aged for a minimum of thirteen years, and hail originally from Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee. The small amount of whiskey selected for this release means especially small batches as well, never more than 4-6 barrels, leaving more room for complexity and unique batch character.

The nose opens with earl grey tea, vanilla bean, caramel, and sweet tobacco. The palate shows the maturity with lush, nutty pecan pie, slightly burnt whole grain toast, and grapefruit peel. The finish is long and spicy, with nutmeg, birch beer, and dry oak tannin. Bottled at 46.5% abv.
